ACTIVITIES

AT. 1 - Presentation and dissemination of international trends in the agri-food sector throughout the project

Consumer behaviour is increasingly volatile and consumption trends in the agri-food sector have changed significantly in recent years. Therefore, as well as understanding consumer preferences at any given time, the success of SMEs depends above all on their ability to keep up with market dynamics, anticipate trends and adopt a flexible approach that allows them to respond appropriately to fluctuations in the sector.

  • The aim of this activity is to generate and disseminate knowledge and up-to-date information to SMEs in the agri-food sector on international market trends.

AT. 2 - Market Research and International Marketing Guides

In line with the project's strategic objective, this activity consists of creating practical tools (in the form of studies/guides by market) that provide SMEs with information on the characteristics and trends of each market in terms of consumption and purchasing preferences. The aim is to enable each SME to develop an effective strategy for approaching these markets in an informed and targeted manner.

AT. 3 - International promotional activities - Promotional exhibitions

The aim of this activity is to promote and valorise the offer of the national agri-food sector through face-to-face promotional missions to some of the project's target markets, involving tastings, presentations and meetings with importers, thus identifying potential clients and partners.

  • United States of America
  • Canada

AT. 4 – Reverse Missions - Journalists, bloggers and opinion makers

The project also provides for reverse missions to Portugal, receiving opinion makers, journalists and importers from the target markets. These visits allow for an immersive experience in the territories where the products originate, with direct contact with the producers and the associated cultural heritage, promoting authentic and differentiating communication.
