PROJECT SUMMARY
The COOP4PAM project aims to develop the PAM sector in EUROACE, enhancing the competitiveness and innovation of companies in their approach to national and international markets, in a young sector with potential for growth and diversification in which this cross-border territory presents itself with advantages comparatives.
Starting from similar edaphoclimatic conditions and rare common biological resources, the potential economic value will be jointly identified and some wild plants will be cultivated and the productive processes of others will be improved, while encouraging the development of higher value end products from the deepening of the articulation between research and companies and the development of networking.
It is intended to achieve the following results:

- Indigenous PAM identified and characterized and studied their economic potential, processes and procedures for their culture and integration into markets;
- PAM with good production conditions in the region identified and characterized and improved cultivation, processing and market integration processes;
- Improved skills of agents in the sector, valuing collaboration between research and companies as a means of production and dissemination of knowledge;
- Information on science, technology and markets in the PAM sector made available in a continuous and systematic way on a specialized digital platform (PAM Observatory);
- Increased information flows and collaboration (between actors, between regions, inside and outside EUROACE).
