PROJECT SUMMARY
Financed by ERASMUS+ Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training, Byp4Dev project main objective is related to improve the development of bio-based sector through the creation of a new professional profile, the by-products and wastes valorisation in agri-food sector expert, by designing a common curriculum and a learning approach that will allow professionals from this sector to meet the needs and opportunities that bio-based labour market offers. In order to address this opportunity, this project tries to tackle the challenge through the following specific objectives:
Through the use of innovative and collaborative methodologies (service design and lean methodologies), the project will design in a last stage, together with the main actors with competences in education and industrial areas, the pathway (through the service design tool "blueprint"), to integrate this new expert profile into the vocational training ecosystem.
As direct target public
For the expert profile in by-products and wastes valorization in agri-food sector:
- Professionals of agri-food sector (technical profiles)
- Vocational training students, graduates, masters in the agro industrial sector
- Agro industrial entrepreneurs
For the elaboration of the blueprint/roadmap
- Organisms with competence in lifelong learning (public authorities in education level,vocational training schools to enterprise associations which promote lifelong learningtraining process in this area).
As indirect target public
- The Agro Industry sector: SME associations, business organizations and Clusters.
-The Educational sector: vocational training centres, organizations involved in adulteducation, universities-the Regional supporting services: business incubators andaccelerators, Regional development agencies-Policy-makers: local, national and Europeanpublic authorities responsible for the definition of policies for employment and training.
Stakeholders involvement
At the beginning of the project, each partner will map in a regional scope the main stakeholders related to the project, in order to create 5 National and one European Databases.
A Survey will be created among the stakeholder identified. Later, one group of selected representatives will take part in the FocusGroup to get deeper understanding and validate the results obtained with surveys.
Once the course design is finished, will start the Training Course Testing Process to be able to explore the possibilities that this training is offering them, counting on the support of partner’s staff as a tutor, and giving feedback to partners about both,training contents and platform.
Finally, all partners will involve participants in their Multiplier Events not only for the main target but also to the indirect target public and stakeholders.
Partnership
The Byp4Dev project brings together European partners from five different countries: Spain (FUNDECYT-PCTEX), Finland (HAMK), Greece (EXELIA), Latvia (VIDZEME) and Portugal (InovCluster) and different backgrounds, all of the complementary to each other and to the ultimate goal of the project.

24 months: from March 2022 to February 2024.
