Aware of the importance of the Spanish market for national agri-food exports, INOVCLUSTER, in partnership with PortugalFoods, is promoting the participation in the Alimentaria Barcelona 2020 fair that will take place between 20 and 23 April in Barcelona.

Why participate?

Spain is the 14th largest economy worldwide and the 5th within the European Union, with a total GDP of around 1,200 billion euros and a GDP per capita 30% higher than the Portuguese.

Spain was the 1st customer of Portuguese exports of goods in 2018, representing ¼ of our exports. The image of Portugal in Spain has been changing and in a very positive way, approximately, 5900 Portuguese companies already export to Spain.

Alimentaria Barcelona 2020 foresees in the next edition the presence of more than 150 000 visitors, 4 500 exhibitors and 1 400 business agents with 70 countries represented.

What does it include?

By participating with us, Inovcluster provides the "all in one" service, which involves:

  • Space rental + stand and decoration;
  • Transport of goods;
  • On-site management and technical support;
  • Study and identification of potential importers/distributors in Spain;
  • Flight Lisbon - Barcelona - Lisbon;
  • 4 nights' accommodation in a 4-star hotel (1 person per company);
  • Inclusion in the Fair's brochure;

With travel and accommodation EUR 7,200.00 + VAT

Without travel and accommodation: 6,000.00 + VAT

How to participate?

To participate you must complete the attached registration form (-Registration Form - Alimentaria Barcelona 2020-) by 15 November 2019.

Will we have financial support?

Funding of up to 50% for eligible companies.

This action is part of the joint internationalisation project 2018/2020 that has the final objective of increasing the weight of international sales in the agri-food sector companies, boosting the increase of Portugal's visibility abroad. It is financed by PORTUGAL 2020, under the Competitiveness and Internationalisation Operational Programme, in the amount of 940,808.12 thousand euros, of which 518,444.70 thousand euros come from the European Regional Development Fund.
