Vale Pastor + | Open applications

Vale Pastor + is a measure aimed at rewarding producers in the cheese sector who supply milk of the highest quality for PDO cheese production or for supplying PDO cheese dairies. The attribution of the Vale Pastor +, especially to those who comply with the recommended production specifications, will allow an increase in the production of milk for the manufacture of PDO cheese and, consequently, an increase in the production of PDO cheese, always subject to superior quality parameters, leading to an improvement in the attractiveness and competitiveness of the sector.

The Vale Pastor + award is part of the "Programme for the Enhancement of the Value of Cheese Production in the Centre Region", supported by CENTRO 2020, whose aim is to make a fundamental contribution to the economic enhancement of PDO cheeses.
