BIOFACH | Open Registration

The Portuguese Agrofood Cluster (Inovcluster, PortugalFoods, Agrocluster and Portugal Fresh) in collaboration with AGROBIO, announces the national presence at the International Fair for the Organic Sector - BIOFACH.

The national representation at this fair has the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development through the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, under the National Strategy for Organic Agriculture.

BIOFACH is the fair of excellence dedicated to the promotion of organic products. It is an event with solid organic and sustainable principles, promoted in close partnership with producers and industry with the aim of consolidating the most important fair in this segment, at European level.

The national presence will have around 72m2 of exhibition area, where products with organic certification (mandatory) will be promoted to international buyers. This will be a collective representation of Portugal, with the products being promoted in an aggregate manner, under an institutional brand linked to national organic production.

Certain of the relevance of this fair as a platform to leverage exports and national production of certified organic products, not only for the primary sector but for the industry as a whole, Inovcluster is currently collecting applications from companies to organise the national pavilion at BioFach, which will take place at the Nürnberg Messe Exhibition Park, in Nuremberg, from 12 to 15 February 2020.
