On July 19th, the Minister of State and Economy, Pedro Siza Vieira, the Secretaries of State for the Interior Promotion, João Paulo Catarino and for the Economy, João Correia Neves, the President of CCDRC, Ana Abrunhosa and the Mayor of Castelo Branco, Luís Correia, visited the premises where InovCluster is based.

During the visit it was possible to present the Association and some projects in which it is involved, as well as the vision of complementarity between sectors, in a win-win perspective, and the importance of the internationalisation strategy with a view to the growth of agro-food companies and recognition of products. During the presentation, several questions were asked by Pedro Siza Vieira, who also made positive comments about the association.

The demands to which the agri-food sector is subject, as well as the concerns of entrepreneurs, were exposed by the President of InovCluster, Cláudia Domingues Soares, who, during the presentation of the Association, warned of "the demands of the agri-food sector that translate into a decrease in the competitiveness of our companies", compared to the demands of the sector verified in other countries.
