PROJECT SUMMARY

The project REiNOVA_SI aims to promote the launch of new products by agri-food SMEs, which respond to new market trends (natural products, with sustainable processes).

For this, the project has specific objectives: to design a new consulting model adapted to SMEs in the sector, which creates the conditions for easier and faster adaptation of processes based on circular economy (EC) practices and to create a model of international cooperation that effectiveness the principle of circularity. With the best practices created, the rapid emergence of eco-innovation will be stimulated.

With the new consulting model it is expected to increase the number of products based on circular production cycles, leading to the consolidation of SMEs and the creation of new business units or new companies.

It is also expected to consolidate the knowledge of the international innovation network REINOVA, constituted by the beneficiaries of the project, in the area of EC, with a view to a wider dissemination of these practices in the agri-food sector.

The project presents 4 innovations: creation of a new model of consulting and good practices, adaptation of the model to the profile of SMEs in the sector, a model of cooperation that standardizes cross-border management practices; cooperation model linking SMEs to third parties for the implementation of the circularity principle.
