INOVCLUSTER supports the agri-food SMEs in 
joining the marketplace platform MercaChefe.pt
In response to the new trends in international marketing and the evolution of sales processes for digital channels, support is being given to the adhesion to international marketplaces for the sale of products with high national added value.
The use of online sales channels has grown sharply in the last decade, and this is an irreversible trend in the current economy and society. The investment in the adhesion to marketplaces represents the entrance in extended international commercialisation networks, benefiting from a global promotion and with visibility to new publics.
ABOUT MERCACHEFE.PT
MercaChefe.pt was the first food marketplace in Portugal, with the objective of developing a virtual market model equivalent to traditional markets. Initially only B2B, to supply the HoReCa channel, the MercaChefe.pt is now a wholesale B2B and B2C e-commerce platform.
The MercaChefe.pt model focuses on simplicity, efficiency and innovation. A tool that helps professionals in the sector to manage waste, stock, orders and payments to suppliers, but also final consumers who want to buy online.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Funding of up to 50% for eligible companies. This action is part of the application to the Joint Internationalisation Project 2021/2023, whose ultimate goal is to increase the weight of international sales in agri-food companies, enhancing the visibility of Portugal beyond its borders. This participation is pending approval by the managing entity of the project in which the action is included.
