Company: Minhofumeiro it's a company heir of a tradition of four generations os sausages and smoked meats in Ponte de Lima's style. Initially known as Casa Borges, its present in the market for over 28 years as Minhofumeiro brand, respecting the productive prerequisites that gave it notoriety.
Minho Fumeiro mission is to maintain the sausages traditional flavours os Ponte de Lima: not giving up of a high quality level, obtained by productive processes assumingly handcrafts abd detailed selection of raw matter, natural ingridients produced in Vale do Lima fields (onion, garlic, green Ponte de Lima's wine, etc).
In 2005 the company obtained a quality certification ISO 22.000 by APCER, being the first company in this sector, in Portugal, to obtain this meticulous certification norm and in 2017, migrated to FSSC 22.000 norm.
