Company: The Business Association began its activity in 1987, as a regional delegation of the AIP - Portuguese Industrial Association. In 1991 the AEBB was declared a non-profit public utility association, with district scope. The opening of its first delegation in the NUT III of Cova da Beira, located in the city of Covilhã and covering the municipalities of Belmonte, Fundão, Penamacor and Covilhã, took place in 1999. In March 2000, it extended its area of intervention to the area of Pinhal Interior Sul, more specifically in Proença-a-Nova. This delegation covers the municipalities of Oleiros, Sertã, Proença-a-Nova and Vila de Rei.
